PENGARUH PEMBERIAN REWARD DAN REINFORCEMENT NEGATIF TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian reward dan reinforcement negatif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Validitas instrumen diuji dengan analisis korelasi product moment, sedangkan reliabilitas menggunakan analisis koefisien alpha Cronbach. Uji prasyarat analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji linieritas, dan uji multikolinieritas. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari pemberian reward dan reinforcement negatif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan F_hitung (127,827) > F_tabel (3,029) dan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 atau kurang dari 0,05 dengan pengaruh simultan sebesar 48,8%. Secara parsial sumbangan efektif dari reward sebesar 38,5% dan reinforcement negatif sebesar 10,3%.

Abstract

This research aims at knowing the effect of giving reward and negative reinforcement towards students learning motivation. This research used ex post facto quantitative approach. The validity of instrument tested by the correlation of product moment, while reliability used Cronbach alpha coefficient analysis. Data analysis precondition test used normality test, linieritas test, and multikolinieritas. Hypothesis testing used multiple regression. The results of the study show that there are positive and significant effect of giving reward and negative reinforcement towards students learning motivation. This is evidenced by F count (127.827) > F table (3.029) and the level of significance 0.000 or less than 0.05 with simultaneous effect of 48,8%. Partially effective contribution from the reward of 38.5% and negative reinforcement of 10.3%.
