PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENGAMATI DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA MELALUI METODE GUIDED DISCOVERY SISWA KELAS V SDN KEPUHAN, SEWON

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengamati dan hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Kepuhan, Sewon dengan menggunakan metode guided discovery.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bersifat kolaboratif dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelas V sejumlah 18 siswa. Objek penelitian adalah kemampuan mengamati dan hasil belajar IPA melalui metode guided discovery pada materi siklus air. Penelitian ini terdiri atas dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan penilaian tes hasil belajar siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik persentase.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan metode guided discovery hingga siklus II mampu meningkatkan kemampuan mengamati dan hasil belajar IPA. Diperoleh data >75% dari seluruh siswa mampu mendapat nilai ≥75 untuk kemampuan mengamati dan seluruh siswa (100%) mendapat nilai tes hasil belajar ≥75 saat siklus II, sehingga proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode guided discovery dinyatakan memenuhi kriterian keberhasilan.

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to increase observation skill and learning result of science for fifth grade student of SDN Kepuhan Sewon through guided discovery method.
The research was a Class Action Research type with the subject were 18 students of fifth grade students. The object of this research was observation capabiliy and learning result of science through Guided Discovery method for water sycle lesson. This reasearch consist of two cycles, there were two meetings every cycle. The data collection techniques were obtained through observation and students learning assessment. Data were analized through by presentation techniques.
The result of this research showed the using guided discovery method until cycle II improved the observation capabiliy and result learning of science. Data were obtained >75% of all students got ≥75 for observation skill and all of the students (100%) got ≥75 for learning result while cycle II, thefore the learning process by guided discovery method was succes.
