Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap hasil belajar IPA kelas IV SDN Condongcatur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 60 siswa dengan sampel 56 siswa. Teknik sampling menggunakan sampling acak
(random). Penentuan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan undian. Hasil undian didapatkan kelas kontrol adalah IVA dan kelas eksperimen adalah IVB. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, sedangkan teknik analisis data adalah beda rata-rata dan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (problem based learning) efektif secara signifikan terhadap hasil
belajar IPA pada kelas IV SD N Condongcatur. Perhitungan nilai rata-rata akhir kelas eksperimen adalah 77,86 dan nilai kelas kontrol adalah 72,28. Penelitian ini memberikan pengetahuan bahwa pembelajaran IPA dengan penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah efektif secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPA pada kelas IV SDN Condongcatur.

Abstract

This study aims at determining the effectifity of problem based learning model implementation to 4th grade students science learning achievement in SDN Condongcatur. This method was quasi experimental. Research population was 60 students with 56 students sample. Sampling techniques used simple random sampling. Determination of control class and experimental class used the lottery. The draw obtained control class were IVA and experimental class were IVB. Data collection techniques used the test, while data analysis was the average difference and descriptive statistical analysis. The results shows that implementation of problem based learning model significantly effective to sience learning achievement on the fourth grade in SDN Condongcatur. The average value on the end of the experiment class is 77.86 and the value of the control class is 72.28. This study provides that learning science with the implementation of problem based learning model significantly effective to the science learning achievement in fourth grade in SDN Condongcatur.
