ANALISIS ANIMO MASYARAKAT DALAM MEMILIH SEKOLAH ANAK DI SD WULUHADEG DAN SD IT ASSALAAM

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui animo masyarakat dalam memilih sekolah anak jenjang sekolah dasar di SD Wuluhadeg dan SD IT Assalaam. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah orang tua siswa kelas 1 di SD Wuluhadeg dan SD IT Assalaam. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan uji kredibilitas dengan trianggulasi teknik dan member check. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang menjadi pertimbangan masyarakat dalam memilih SD Wuluhadeg yaitu lokasi sekolah, keamanan, prestasi sekolah, fasilitas, pendekatan pembelajaran, pendidik, dan biaya sekolah. Faktor yang menjadi pertimbangan masyarakat dalam pemilihan sekolah di SD IT Assalaam adalah porsi pendidikan agama, keamanan, prestasi sekolah, pendekatan pembelajaran, dan kedisiplinan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze  the reason why some parents choose Wuluhadeg and IT Assalaam elementary schools. This research used qualitatif approach. The subject of this research were parents who had choosen SD Wuluhadeg and SD IT Assalaam.The data were obtained from observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis used data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The credibility test used triangulation techniques and member check. The research findings show that the factors that became the society’s consideration in choosing SD Wuluhadeg were location, safety, school performance, facilities, learning approaches, teachers,  and costs.  The factor that became the society’s consideration in choosing SD IT Assalaam were religion, safety, school performance, and discipline.
