PENERAPAN METODE THE LEARNING CELL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR IPS

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar IPS dengan penerapan metode the learning cell
siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Karangasem. Desain penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan model
Kemiss Taggart. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas berjumlah 23 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan
observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskripsi kuantitatif dan
deskripsi kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keaktifan belajar IPS melalui metode the
learning cell pada siswa kelas IV. Hasil observasi rata-rata keaktifan belajar siswa pra tindakan 45,00%, siklus I
69,78% dan siklus II sebesar 81,09%.

Abstract
The aim of this research was to improve the social studies learning activities with the implementation
of the learning cell method among 4th grade students SDN 1 Karangasem. The research design was the
research on the students’ activity with Kemiss Taggart model. The subject of this research were 23 4th
grade students. The techniques used in the research were quantitative and qualitative descriptions. The
result shows that there was an improvement in the social studies learning activities using the learning cell
method among 4th grade students. The average results of the students’ learning activities were pre-action
45,00%, 1st cycle 69,78%, and 2nd cycle 81,09%.
