PENGARUH KEMAMPUAN MANAJERIAL KEPALA SEKOLAH TERHADAP MOTIVASI KERJA DAN DISIPLIN KERJA GURU

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah terhadap motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja guru se-Gugus III Kecamatan Kalasan  Kabupaten Sleman  Yogyakarta. Pendekatan penelitian adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dan merupakan penelitian ex-post facto bentuk causal research. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh guru kelas yang berjumlah 42 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket berupa skala likert. Uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah terhadap motivasi kerja dimana t_hitung lebih besar dari t_tabel (10,032>2,021) pada taraf signifikansi 5% (0,000>0,05). (2) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah terhadap disiplin kerja dimana t_hitung lebih besar dari t_tabel (7,377>2,021) pada taraf signifikansi 5% (0,000>0,05).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of principal’s managerial abilities on work motivation and discipline of teachers in Gugus III, Kalasan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. This research method used quantitative approach in the causal research of ex-post facto form. The subject of the research was all 42 teachers classroom. Data collection technique used a questionnaire of likert scale form. Hypothesis test used simple regression analysis. The results of this research showed that (1) there was a positive and significant effects between the principal's managerial ability with work motivation where the t_hitung was greater than t_tabel (10,032>2,021) at the significance level of 5% (0,000>0,05). (2) there was a positive and significant effects between the managerial ability of school principals with work discipline where the t_hitung is greater than t_tabel (7,377>2,021) at the significance level of 5% (0,000>0,05).
