PENINGKATAN PRESTASI BELAJAR TEMATIK BERMUATAN IPS MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE MAKE A MATCH

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar tematik bermuatan IPS menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match siswa kelas IVA SD Negeri 2 Petir Bantul. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian adalah 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan tes. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar tematik bermuatan IPS siswa kelas IVA mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match dari pra tindakan ke siklus I, dan ke siklus II. Pada pra tindakan ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 20% setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I, ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat menjadi 65% dan pada siklus II ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat lagi menjadi 85%.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to improve social studies thematic learning achievement through cooperative learning model make a match type in grade IVA SD Negeri 2 Petir Bantul. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of this research were the students of grade IVA. The data collection technique were observation and test. The instrument used obsevation sheets and test. The data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative. The research result show that the social studies thematic learning achievements can increase after conducted with the cooperative learning model make a match type from pre-action, first cycle, and second cycle. The pre-action stage shows that 20% students pass the passing grade after conducted action against first cycle, the acquisition of student mastery learning increase 65% and in the second cycle get the students reached the passing grade were 85%.
