HUBUNGAN ANTARA KECERDASAN LOGIKA-MATEMATIKA DENGAN MINAT BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS V SE-GUGUS 1 WATES

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kecerdasan logika-matematika dan minat belajar matematika serta hubungan antara kecerdasan logika-matematika dengan minat belajar matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode ex-postfacto. Populasi penelitian ini 136 siswa dengan sampel 101 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah simple random sampling.. Uji validitas instrumen yang digunakan adalah validitas isi. Reliabilitas instrumen menggunakan nilai Alpha Cronbach. Uji prasyarat analisis adalah uji linieritas dan normalitas, dengan menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) tingkat kecerdasan logika-matematika siswa kategori rendah 6,93%, dibawah rata-rata 30,70%, rata-rata 27,72%, di atas rata-rata 21,78% dan tinggi 12,87%. (2) Tingkat minat belajar siswa kategori rendah 4,96%, di bawah rata-rata 31,68%, rata-rata 32,68% di atas rata-rata 23,76% dan tinggi 7,92%, (3) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan logika- matematika dengan minat belajar matematika dengan hasil uji korelasi dengan nilai r hitung 0,481 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of logical-mathematical intelligence, interest in learning mathematics and the correlations between logical-mathematics intelligence with interest in learning mathematics. This study is quantitative with ex-postfacto method. The population were 136 students with the sample were 101 students. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. The validity test of the instrument was a content validity. Data collection techniques used test and a questionnaires. Instrument reliability used Cronbach Alphavalue. Prerequisite test analysis were test of linearity and normality with analyzed technique correlation. The results showed that: (1) the level of logical- mathematics intelligence are the low 6,93%, lower than average 30,70%, average 27,72%, higher than average 21,78% and high 12,87%. (2) the level of interest in learning mathematics are low 4,96%, lower than average 31,68%, average 32,68%, higher than average 23,76% and high 7,92%. (3) there is a positive and significant correlations between logical-mathematical intelligence and interest in learning mathematics with the results of correlation r count value is 0.481  and a significant value is 0,000.
