ASESMEN KUALITATIF PELAKSANAAN FULL DAY SCHOOL SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI SIDAKAN

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan full day school di SD Negeri Sidakan, Desa Banaran, Kecamatan Galur, Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru, karyawan, dan dokumen yang terkait dengan pelaksanaan full day school. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Langkah-langkah analisis data meliputi reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi data. Keabsahan data diuji melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan full day school di SD Negeri Sidakan kurang maksimal. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan (1) organisasi dan pengorganisasian yang kurang optimal, (2) kurikulum yang kurang kompetitif, visioner, dan variatif, (3) tenaga pendidik yang kurang profesional, (4) sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadai, dan (5) hubungan dengan masyarakat (Humas) yang kurang optimal.

Abstract

This research aims to describing the implementation of full-day school in SD Sidakan, Banaran Village, Galur District, Kulon Progo Regency. This research was a qualitative research. The sources of research data consist of principals, teachers, employees, and documents related to the implementation of full-day school. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis steps included data reduction, presentation and verification. The validity of the data tested through a source and technique triangulation. The results show that the implementation of full-day school in SD N Sidakan is not optimal. This is indicated by (1) less optimal organization and school organizing, (2) a less competitive, visionary, and varied curriculum, (3) less professional of teaching staff, (4) inadequate facilities and infrastructure, and (5) less optimal of public relation.
