PENERAPAN MODEL SNOWBALL THROWING PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SIKAP PERCAYA DIRI DI KELAS IIIB SD MUHAMMADIYAH PANDES

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan sikap percaya diri pada siswa kelas IIIB SD Muhammadiyah Pandes menggunakan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah PTK model Kemmis dan MC Taggart. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, skala, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi, skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa adanya peningkatan sikap percaya diri pada siswa kelas IIIB SD Muhammadiyah Pandes pada pelajaran IPS. Sikap percaya diri ini dapat meningkat karena penggunaan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing dengan langkah-langkah dari Hamdayama. Berdasarkan hasil dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Snowball Throwing pada pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan sikap percaya diri siswa kelas III B SD Muhammadiyah Pandes sebesar 77%. Hasil dari siklus II sudah mencapai tujuan yaitu dengan persentae ≥ 75%.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the confidence in students of class III B SD Muhammadiyah Pandes uses the model of learning Snowball Throwing on IPS learning. The type of the research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) Kemmis and MC Taggart model. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, scale, and documentation. The Instruments were interview guides, observation sheets, scale of confidence, and camera. The results shows that there is an improvement in student confidence of class III B SD Muhammadiyah Pandes on IPS lessons. This self-confidence improve because the use of the Snowball Throwing learning model with the steps of Hamdayama. Based on the result of this research conclude that the implementation of Snowball Throwing model on IPS Learning can improve self-confidence on class III B SD Muhammadiyah Pandes 77% . The result of the second cycle already reaches the goals that the percentage of self-confidence is ≥ 75%.
