IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER PEDULI LINGKUNGAN DI SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI NOGOPURO

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan di SD Negeri Nogopuro Sleman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu SD Negeri Nogopuro Sleman dengan narasumber antara lain kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman meliputi teknik kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan ditanamkan melalui: 1) pengembangan diri meliputi kegiatan rutin, kegiatan spontan, keteladanan, dan pengkondisian; 2) pengintegrasian pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan dalam mata pelajaran; 3) budaya sekolah.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of environmental awareness of character education in Nogopuro Elementary School. This research used qualitative descriptive approach with case study strategy. The subjects of the research were Nogopuro Elementary School with the headmaster, teachers, and students as the resource persons. The data were collected by observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used component of data analysis concept of Miles and Huberman  (data reduction, data display, and conclusion). Technique and source triangulation were used as the validity of the data. The results shows the environmental awareness of character education was conduct through: 1) self-development through routine activities, spontaneous activities, exemplification, and conditioning; 2) the integration of environmental awareness of character education in the subjects; 3) school culture.
