Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan interaksi sosial dengan subjek siswa tunagrahita di kelas V SD Negeri Beji yang berinisial GW. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan trianggulasi data dan trianggulasi sumber. Data hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) siswa melakukan kerjasama dengan siswa non-ABK, sesama tunagrahita, tunadaksa, dan dengan guru; (2) asimilasi yang terbentuk hanya dengan siswa non-ABK; (3) persaingan yang terjadi dengan siswa non-ABK dan tunadaksa; (4) pertentangan terjadi dengan siswa non-ABK, sesama tunagrahita, dan tunadaksa; (5) akomodasi yang terbentuk dengan siswa non-ABK, sesama tunagrahita, dan tunadaksa; (6) terbatasnya kemampuan akademik siswa GW membuat kurang dapat berperan dalam kegiatan berkelompok.

Abstract

This study aims at describing the social interaction of the student with mentally retarded. The type of this research was qualitative approach with case study. The data techniques are done using observation, interviews, documentation, which include reduction, and conclusion. The validity of data use triangulation techniques and source. Data show that social interaction of student with mentally retarded are as follows; (1) make a teamwork with normal students, another mentally retarded students, physical disability student, and teacher;(2) assimilation just show at student with mentally retarded student and normal students; (3) competition show when learning activity with normal stundents and student with physical disability; (4) make a conflict with normal students, another mentally retarded students, and student with physical disability; (5) make an acomodation with another mentally retarded students and student with physical disability; (6) obstacle in social interaction is the intellegent deviciency that makes some difficulty in teamwork activity.
