PEMANFAATAN MUSEUM SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR UNTUK SEKOLAH DASAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan Museum Gunung Api Merapi dan Museum Affandi sebagai sumber belajar tematik kelas V SD Negeri Keputran I Yogyakarta beserta hambatan dalam pelaksanaannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif.Hasil penelitian: sekolah memanfaatkan fasilitas WKM untuk rekreasi edukatif. Kunjungan ke MGM mengembangkan ranah kognitif dan psikomotorik; kunjungan ke Museum Affandi mengembangkan afektif: menghargai, rela berkorban, dan peduli lingkungan yang terwujud dengan menjaga dan mempelajari sejarah koleksi, serta eksplorasi lingkungan;  keterkaitan kunjungan ke MGM dengan KD: Bahasa Indonesia (teks non fiksi), IPS (karakteristik geografis, mata pencaharian), dan PPKn (tolong menolong); Museum Affandi terkait KD: Bahasa Indonesia (teks non fiksi), IPS (negara maritim), PPKn (persatuan);  hambatan di museum: waktu meninjau KD, koordinasi, ketidaksesuaian LKS, waktu pengembangan afektif, dan turunnya hujan; hambatan di museum diatasi dengan koordinasi singkat; edukator memfokuskan perhatian siswa, guru mendampingi edukator, dan mempersingkat eksplorasi lingkungan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research: to describe the utilization of Merapi Volcano Museum (MGM) and Affandi Museum as thematic learning resources for 5th grade students of Keputran I Yogyakarta Elementary School. This qualitative research has done by using descriptive methods. Results reveal that: (1) school using WKM facilities for educative recreation. A visit to MGM developing cognitive and psycho-motor domain; (2) a visit to Affandi Museum developing affective: appreciative, willing to sacrifice, and environment caring formed by keeping and studying history behind the collections, and exploring the environment; (3) visiting MGM related by KD: Indonesian Language (nonfiction text), IPS (geographical characteristics, livelihood), and PPKn (helping others); (4) the Affandi Museum related by KD: Indonesian Language (nonfiction text), IPS (maritime country), PPKn (unity); (5) the barriers in the museum: time for reviewing KD, coordination, the worksheet that not appropriate with KD, affective developing time, and rain; (6) the barriers in the museums are overcome by short coordination; educator that focusing students attention, teachers that accompanying educators, and shorten the exploration environment time.
