PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA BATANG NAPIER DI KELAS II SD

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika pokok bahasan perkalian bilangan cacah menggunakan media batang napier di kelas II SD N Delegan 3. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan desain menurut Kemmis dan Mc.Taggart. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan adalah 27 siswa kelas II SD N Delegan 3. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi dan tes. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas menunjukkan media batang napier dapat meningkatkan proses pembelajaran dan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Pada pratindakan terdapat 11 siswa (40,7%) yang mencapai KKM. Pada siklus I sebanyak 18 siswa (66,6%) telah mencapai KKM. Pada siklus II sebanyak 25 siswa (92,6%) telah mencapai KKM.

Abstract

This research aims at improving mathematics learning achievement about  multiplication  of  whole numbers through napier bones in class II SD N Delegan 3. The research was Classroom Action Research with designed by Kemmis and Mc.Taggart. The subject of this research were 27 students of second grade of SD N Delegan 3. The data collection technique of this research were observations and tests. The data analyzed by using descriptive quantitative and descriptive qualitative method. The result show that napier bones media can improve learning process and student’s mathematics achievement. There are 11 students (40,7%) who have fulfilled the minimum criteria of mastery learning (KKM) in pre-action. On 1st cycle there are 18 students (66,6%) who have fulfilled the minimum criteria of mastery learning (KKM). On  2cycle  there are 25 students (92,6%) who fulfilled the minimum criteria of mastery learning (KKM).
