UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL SISWA KELAS IV SD KEPEK MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NHT

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa kelas IV SD Kepek melalui penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together(NHT). Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas desain model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2016-Juni 2017. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi danwawancara. Teknik analisis data yaitu secara kuantitatif deskriptif dan kualitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa kelas IV. Langkah-langkah NHT yaitu (1) numbering,(2) questioning, (3) heads together, dan (4) answering.Pada pra tindakan 11 siswa (36,67%%) mencapai predikat baik. Nilai rata-rata kelas adalah 6,19. Pada siklus I 15 siswa  (50%) mencapai predikat baik. Nilai rata-rata kelas sebesar 7,09. Pada siklus II 28 siswa (93,31%) mencapai predikat baik. Rata-rata kelas sebesar 8,01. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa di siklus II keterampilan sosial siswa telah mencapai kriteria keberhasilan penelitian.

Abstract

This research aims at improving the social skill atIVth grade students inKepek Elementary School through the implementation of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) as cooperative learning type. The research was Classroom Action Research using Kemmis & Mc Taggart Model. The subjects of the research were the IVh grade amount 30 students. This research had taken on November 2016-June 2017. The research had two cycles. Data were collected by using observation and interview. Data analysis techniques were descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The result shows that implementation of NHT as type of cooperative learning can improve social skills of IVth grade students. Steps of NHT are: (1) numbering, (2) questioning, (3) heads together, and (4) answering. On pra action there was 11 students (36,67%) which reached good predicate. Mean of class is 6,19. On I cycle there was 15 students (50%) which reached good predicate. Mean of class is 7,09. On II cycles there was 28 students (93,33%) which reached good predicate. Mean of class is 8,01. It had fulfilled successful criteria of this research.
