PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA KELAS V MELALUI METODE EKSPERIMEN DIPADU CARD SORT

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V dalam pembelajaran IPA di SD Negeri 1 Sedayu menggunakan metode eksperimen dipadu dengn card sort. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaborasi menggunakan model Hopkins. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 1 Sedayu  pada semester gasal  tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V dengan jumlah 28 siswa. Objek penelitian yakni hasil belajar siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Metode eksperimen dipadu card sort dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal tersebut dapat diketahui dari  hasil belajar 28 siswa  memiliki nilai rata-rata pada pra-siklus sebanyak 67,14, sedangkan di siklus I mengalami peningkatan menjadi 70,89, dan di siklus II mengalami peningkatan lagi menjadi 77,86.

Abstract

This research is aimed to improve the learning outcome of the 5th-grade student in the natural science learning of National 1 Sedayu Elementary School by using the experimental method combined with a card sort. This research was a collaborative class room action research by using Hopkins model. This research was conducted in National 1 Sedayu elementary school in the odd semester of 2016/2017 school year. The research subjects were 28 5th-grade students. The research object was students' learning outcome. The data were collected through a test, observation, and documentation. The data was analyzed in qualitative and quantitative manner. The research result shows that the utilization of experimental method combined with card sort is able to improve the students' learning outcomes. This result can be discovered from learning outcomes of 28 students which achieve 67.14 average grades in pre-cycle; while the grade has increased to 70.89 in the first cycle and has experienced further increase to 77.86 in the second cycle.
