FAKTOR-FAKTOR PENYEBAB RENDAHNYA KEDISIPLINAN SISWA SDN KEPEK PENGASIH KULON PROGO YOGYAKARTA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan faktor penyebab rendahnya kedisiplinan siswa dan hambatan yang dialami dalam mendisiplinkan siswa SDN Kepek, Pengasih, Kulon Progo, Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SDN Kepek. Objek penelitian yaitu faktor penyebab rendahnya kedisiplinan siswa. Pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan reduksi data, display data, penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa faktor penyebab dari: 1) Guru: guru sebagai teladan suka datang terlambat, 2) Siswa: kurangnya kesadaran diri dalam mematuhi peraturan 3) Lingkungan: ketidaktertiban dan suasana gaduh dari pelaksanaan di lingkungan sekolah yang tidak terduga. Hambatan dari 1) Siswa: siswa tidak paham dengan peraturan, sering melanggar peraturan, susah diberitahu, dan pura-pura tidak tahu, 2) Guru: guru takut membuat siswa menangis jika terlalu disiplin, guru yang tidak fit, dan guru kesulitan menghubungi orang tua siswa.

Abstract

This research aims at describing factors causing low discipline of students and the barriers that can affect in disciplining the students of SDN Kepek, Pengasih, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta. This study used qualitative with descriptive research. The subjects of this research were students of SDN Kepek. The objects of the research were the cause factors of students low disciplines. The data collection techniques consist of observation, interview, documentation. The data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data display, conclusion. The data validity used in the research were triangulation of sources and triangulation technique. The result of this study show that the low students discipline were caused by 1)Teachers:teachers should be a model still come late, 2)Students:they are lack of awareness of the rules 3) Area:undisciplineations and the noise atmosphere because  unplanned actions at school. The barriers that can affect in disciplining students were 1) Students:they don’t understand the rules, they break the rules, they don’t care, they pretend to don’t know the rules. 2) Teachers:they are afraid if the students cried when the teachers are too discipline, the teachers are in a bad situation, and the teachers have difficulty in having interactions with the parents.
