PENGERUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROJECT BASED LEARNING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA KELAS IV

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran IPA di SDN Jarakan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experiment dengan bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Populasi subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV C dan IV D SDN Jarakan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes dan observasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini dengan membandingkan rata-rata skor pretest dan posttest kedua kelompok, membandingkan presentase aspek kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada kedua kelompok dan mengatahui tingkat keberhasilan melalui proses model project based learning dalam mengahsilkan produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran IPA di SDN Jarakan. Kategori rata-rata pretest kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kedua kelompok berada pada kategori yang sama, yaitu (kurang). Kategori rata-rata posttest kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen secara berturut-turut berada pada kategori (cukup) dan (baik). Observasi aspek kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelompok kontrol dan kelompok ekspserimen secara berturut-turut adalah pada kategori (cukup) dan (sangat baik). Sedangkan observasi melalui proses model project based learning dalam menghasilkan produk adalah pada kategori (sangat baik)

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of project-based learning model towards fourth grade students creative thinking skill on science at Jarakan Public Primary School. This research was a quasi-experimental design in form of nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research was class IV C and IV D students at Jarakan Public Primary School. The data collection techniques were test and observations. The data were analised by comparing the mean of average pretest and scores between control and experimental group as well as comparing the percentage of creative thinking skill of both groups and determining the success rate of project-based learning process in generating product. The research result shows that project-based learning influenced fourth grade students creative thinking skill on science at Jarakan Public Primary School. The average pretest scores of both groups are in the same category (sufficient category). The average posttest scores of control and experimental group are in sufficient category and good category respectively. The observation results of control and experimental group are in sufficient and very good category. The observation of project-based learning process in generating product is in very good category.
