PENGARUH RME TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA SD NEGERI 1 SANDEN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh positif penggunaan model Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah soal cerita matematika siswa kelas 2 SD Negeri 1 Sanden. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desainquasi experimental design dan bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 4-17 April 2017. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 2 SD Negeri 1 Sanden. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi dan tes. Data hasil penelitian disajikan menggunakan teknik analisis data statistik deskripstif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan pendekatan realistic mathematic education (RME)terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah soal cerita siswa antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil perhitungan t-test prestasi belajar. Nilai thitung = 2,085> ttabel = 2,008, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa perbedaan yang ada adalah signifikan.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the positive influence of realistic mathematic education to problem solving skill in math for second grade student of 1 Sanden State Elementary School. The type of this research is experimental research with quasi experimental design and nonequivalent control group design’s type. This research did in April 4 to 17, 2017. The population in this research is second graders student of 1 Sanden state elementary school. Technique used to collect data for this research were observation and test. Data result of this research discribed by descriptive and inferencial statistic. The result showed that there was significant influence of Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) to problem solving skill in math for students. It can be seen by the t-test output. The value of tcount = 2,085 > ttable = 2,008, it showed that the different was significant.
