PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR KOGNITIF IPS KELAS V MELALUI PENERAPAN METODE MIND MAPPING

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif IPS siswa kelas V SDN Kuwaderan 2 dengan metode mind mapping. Penelitian dilakukan di SDN Kuwaderan 2 Magelang dengan subjek penelitian guru dan siswa kelas V. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar kognitif IPS mengalami peningkatan dari pra tindakan, siklus I, dan siklus II. Rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif siswa dan banyaknya siswa yang mencapai KKM mulai dari pratindakan, siklus I, dan siklus II berturut-turut adalah 63,04 (6 siswa); 69,53 (19 siswa); dan 81,88 (28 siswa).

Kata Kunci: hasil belajar kognitif IPS, metode mind mapping.

 

Abstract

The purpose of this researchis to improve the social studies cognitive learning outcomes of 5th grade students in SD Negeri Kuwaderan 2 through mind mapping method implementation. The research has been done at SDN Kuwaderan 2 Magelang with the subject of research are teacher and5th grade students. The instrumentsthat used in this research were test and observation sheet. The resultof this research shows that social studiescognitive learning outcomes is improv from pre action, cycle I, and cycle II. The avarage of cognitive learning outcomes and the number of students that have been reached KKM from pre-action, cycle I, cycle II is 63,04 (6 students); 69,53 (19 students); and 81,88 (28 students)
