PERAN GURU KELAS DALAM MENANGANI PERILAKU BULLYING SISWA DI SDIT LHI

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru kelas dalam menangani perilaku bullying pada siswa kelas IA di SDIT LHI (Luqman Al Hakim Internasional).Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah dua guru kelas (US dan UL), guru bimbingan konseling (YN), kepala sekolah (YS), siswa pelaku bullying (HA) dan korban bullying (AR). Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi metode observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Penanganan guru kelas tersebut dapat dijabarkan dalam 5 aspek yakni; (1) peran guru kelas sebagai pembimbing lewat adanya classmeeting, (2) peran guru kelas sebagai mediator dan fasilitator antara pelaku dan korban, (3) peran guru kelas sebagai penasehat, (4) hambatan dalam penanganan bullying, (5) hasil penanganan terhadap pelaku dan korban bullying. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru kelas dalam menangani perilaku bullying di SDIT LHI terlaksana dengan baik.

Abstract

This research has aim to describe the teacher’s role in controlling bullying behavior of IA class student in SDIT LHI (Luqman Al Hakim International). The research approach used qualitative descriptive research. Subject in this research are two teacher class (US dan UL), conseling teacher (YN), headmaster (YS), a student as a suspect in bullying (HA), and the victims of bullying, a student, (AR). Technique in collecting data used observation method, interviews, field note and documentation. In validating the data used triangulation sources and triangulation techniques. The teacher’s role in handling of bullying can be described in 5 aspect; (1) teacher as a guide through the classmeeting (2) teacher as mediator and facilitator between the suspect in bullying and the victim of the bullying, (3) teacher as advisor, (4) obstacles in handle the bullying, (5) the result in handle the suspect in bullying and the victim of the bullying . The result showed that teachers had succeed to handle bullying behavior at SDIT LHI.
