PENERAPAN MODEL QUANTUM LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi pecahan menggunakan model quantum learning untuk siswa kelas III di SD Negeri Seneng. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) kolaboratif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas III SD Negeri Seneng yang berjumlah 17 siswa yang terdiri dari 13 siswa laki – laki dan 4 siswa perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Kemmis & Mc Taggart. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan observasi. Data penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan model quantum learning. Pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata – rata 97,86 dengan ketuntasan 100%. Pada siklus II diperoleh nilai rata – rata 98,57 dengan ketuntasan belajar 100%. Begitupula dengan hasil observasi aktivitas siswa yang mengalami peningkatan, pada siklus I yaitu 91,86% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 96,46%.

Abstract

The research aims to improve the learning achievement of mathematic focusing on the materials of fractions using quantum learning model for third grade students of Seneng State Elementary School. The kind of research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) collaborative. The subjects of the research were the students of Third Grade in Seneng State Elementary School amounting of 17 students who consisted of 13 male students and 4 female students. The kind of the research used Kemmis and Mc Taggart’s version. The methods of data collection were test and observation. The data analyzed both descriptive qualitatively and descriptive quantitatively. The result of the implementation of quantum learning model to improve the math learning achievement shows that there is an improvement in the students’s mathematic learning achievement after the teacher used the quantum learning model. In cycle I, the average value 97,86 and 100% of students pass the standard achievement. In cycle II, the average value 98,57 and 100% of students pass the standard achievement. The same case happen to the observation result of the student’s activity, in cycle I, it was 91,86%  and in cycle II it became 96,46%.
