PENERAPAN ACTIVE LEARNING TIPE KEEP ON LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR KOGNITIF PKn SISWA KELAS V

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan hasil belajar kognitif PKn dengan menggunakan model active learning tipe keep on learning pada siswa kelas V. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN Kraton yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Adapun indikator keberhasilan tindakan ditandai dengan ≥75% dari jumlah siswa yang mengikuti proses pembelajaran memperoleh nilai ≥75. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif PKn siswa kelas V setelah menggunakan model active learning tipe keep on learning. Pada siklus I mengalami peningkatan sebesar 37,5% dengan kondisi awal 25% meningkat menjadi 62,5% dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 33,33% menjadi 95,8%.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of civic education through active learning with keep on learning type in fifth grade students. This research was a classroom action research. The subject of this research were the students of grade fifth at State Elementary School Kraton, Yogyakarta amounting of 24 students. The methods of data collection used were test, observation, and documentation. The collected data then analyzed both descriptive qualitatively and descriptive quantitatively. The success indicator of the action is characterized by ≥75% of students who taok the learning process has gained value ≥75. The results showed an increase in cognitive achievement of Civic Education in fifth grade students after using the active learning with keep on learning type. In the first cycle students who received ≥75 value increased by 37.5% with the initial conditions of 25% increased to 62.5% and the second cycle increased by 33.33% to 95.8%.
