PERSEPSI KEPALA SEKOLAH TERHADAP KOMPETENSI GURU PENJASORKES SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI SE-KECAMATAN WATES KULONPROGO.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena adanya program sertifikasi dari pemerintah untuk
mendorong agar guru dapat berkinerja dengan baik dan profesional, selain itu ada guru penjasorkes di
sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Wates Kulonprogo yang masih kurang menguasai 4 kompetensi guru saat
melakukan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi Kepala
Sekolah terhadap kompetensi guru penjasorkes di sekolah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian
deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei dan menggunakan persentase sebagai
perhitungannya. Variabel penelitian adalah persepsi Kepala Sekolah terhadap kompetensi guru
Penjasorkes. Populasi penelitian adalah semua Kepala Sekolah SD Negeri di Kecamatan Wates
Kabupaten Kulonprogo sejumlah 29 orang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan model angket tertutup
sebanyak 33 butir.  Hasil penelitian persepsi Kepala Sekolah terhadap kompetensi guru penjasorkes di
SDN se-Kecamatan Wates Kulonprogo, 6,90 % kategori “sangat baik”; 37,94 % kategori “baik”;
17,24 % kategori “sedang”; 34,48 % kategori “tidak baik”; dan 3,44 % kategori “sangat tidak baik”.

Abstract
This research is motivated by certification program of the government to encourage teachers
to perform well and professionally, besides there are still teachers of physical education, sport, and
health (Penjasorkes) in elementary schools in Wates District, Kulon Progo who still less master 4
teacher competences while teaching the learning. This research aims to determine how the perception
of the principals towards the competence of teachers of physical education, sport, and health teachers
in schools is. The research was descriptive quantitative research using survey method and percentage
as the calculation. The research variables were perceptions of principal towards the competence of
teachers of Penjasorkes. The population of the research were all principals in state elementary schools
in Wates District, Kulon Progo Regency of 29 teachers. The research instrument used closed
questionnaire model with total of 33 items. The results of research on the perception of principal
towards competence of Penjasorkes teachers in state elementary schools in Wates District, Kulon
Progo are; 6, 90% is in the "very good" category; 37.94% is in the "good" category; 17.24% is in the
"medium" category; 34.48% is in the "not good" category; and 3.44% is in the "very not good"
category.
