TINGKAT PEMAHAMAN PESERTA DIDIK KELAS V DI SD NEGERI BOGEM I KALASAN TERHADAP PENTINGNYA MENJAGA KEBERSIHAN GIGI DAN MULUT GRADE FIVE STUDENTS' LEVEL OF UNDERSTANDING IN SD NEGERI BOGEM 1 KALASAN TO THE IMPORTANCE OF TEETH AND MOUTH’S CLEANLINESS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa tinggi tingkat pemahaman peserta didik
kelas V SD Negeri Bogem I Kalasan terhadap pentingnya menjaga kebersihan gigi dan mulut. Jenis
penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan teknik
pengumpulan data menggunakan tes benar-salah. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik
kelas V SD Negeri Bogem I Kalasan yang berjumlah 32 peserta didik, dengan rincian 18 peserta
didik putra dan 14 peserta didik putri, yang diambil menggunakan teknik total sampling. Analisis
data menggunakan analisis deskriptif yang dituangkan dalam bentuk persentase. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Bogem I Kalasan terhadap
pentingnya menjaga kebersihan gigi dan mulut berada pada kategori “sangat rendah” sebesar 0,000%
(0 peserta didik), “rendah” sebesar 21,875% (7 peserta didik), “cukup” sebesar 62,500% (20 peserta
didik), “tinggi” sebesar 15,625% (5 peserta didik), dan “sangat tinggi” sebesar 0,000% (0 peserta
didik).

This research was aimed to know how high was the grade five students' level of understanding
in SD Negeri Bogem 1 Kalasan to the importance of teeth and mouth’s cleanliness. This research
was a descriptive research. The method of this research was survey with right or wrong test as the
data collection technique. The population in this research was the 32 grade five students of SD
Negeri Bogem 1 Kalasan, 18 male students and 14 female students. The sampling technique of this
research was total sampling technique. The data analysis technique of this research was descriptive
analysis in the form of percentage. The result of this study has shown that the grade five students'
level of understanding in SD Negeri Bogem 1 Kalasan to the importance of teeth and mouth’s
cleanliness were in the category of “very low” = 0,000% (0 student), “low” = 21,875% (7 students),
“average” = 62,500% (20 students), “high” = 15,625% (5 students) and “very high” = 0,000 % (0
students).
