PENGEMBANGAN LKPD BERBASIS MODEL PEMBELAJARAN CURIOUS NOTE PROGRAM (CNP) GUNA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATERI KESEIMBANGAN DAN DINAMIKA ROTASI THE DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENT WORKSHEET BASED ON CURIOUS NOTE PROGRAM (CNP) LEARNING MODEL TO INCREASE THE COGNITIVE ABILITY OF STUDENTS SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL ON CHAPTER EQUILIBRIUM AND DYNAMICS OF ROTATION

Abstract


ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) menghasilkan produk LKPD berbentuk Finding Out Question, Discussion and Determination, Study Related Theory, dan Inquiry Activity berbasis model pembelajaran CNP pada materi Keseimbangan dan Dinamika Rotasi di SMA/MA yang layak untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik. (2) Mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik setelah diimplementasikan LKPD berbentuk Finding Out Question, Discussion and Determination, Study Related Theory, dan Inquiry Activity yang dikembangkan dengan berbasis model pembelajaran CNP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan desain yang diadaptasi dari model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate) menurut Thiagarajan dan Semmel (1974). Tahap define dilakukan untuk mendefinisikan permasalahan. Tahap design dilakukan dengan mengembangkan instrumen penelitian, rancangan awal RPP dan LKPD berbasis model pembelajaran CNP, beserta perangkat pembelajarannya. Tahap develop dilakukan untuk menghasilkan RPP dan LKPD berbasis model pembelajaran CNP serta soal pretest dan posttest. Tahap disseminate dilakukan untuk penyebaran RPP dan LKPD berbasis model pembelajaran CNP dalam skala yang lebih luas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) LKPD berbasis model pembelajaran CNP yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika pada materi Keseimbangan dan Dinamika Rotasi guna meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik SMA kelas XI ditinjau dari hasil validitas, reliabilitas, dan respon peserta didik. (2) Peningkatan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik SMA kelas XI dengan menggunakan LKPD berbasis model pembelajaran CNP pada materi Keseimbangan dan Dinamika Rotasi ditinjau dengan standard gain sebesar 0,18 yang termasuk dalam peningkatan kategori rendah.
Kata-kata kunci : Pengembangan LKPD, Curious Note Program, Kemampuan Kognitif, dan Keseimbangan dan Dinamika Rotasi.
ABSTRACT
This study aims to: (1) produce LKPD products in the form of Finding Out Question, Discussion and Determination, Study Related Theory, and Inquiry Activity based on CNP learning model on Balance and Dynamics Rotational material in Senior High School / MA which is feasible to improve cognitive ability ofstudent.(2) Perceive the improvement of cognitive ability of the student after LKPD is implemented in the form of Finding Out Question, Discussion and Determination, Study Related Theory, and Inquiry Activity developed based on CNP learning model. This study is a development research (R & D) with design adapted from 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) according to Thiagarajan and Semmel (1974). The define stage is done to define the problem at hand. Design stage is done by developing research instrument, initial design of RPP and LKPD based on CNP learning model, along with learning device. Develop stage is done to produce RPP and LKPD based on CNP learning model and about pretest and posttest. The disseminate stage is done for the dissemination of RPP and LKPD based on the CNP learning model on a wider scale. The results showed that: (1) LKPD based on CNP learning model developed feasible to be used in physics learning on Balance and Rotational Dynamics materials to improve cognitive ability of high school students of class XI in terms of the validity, reliability, and response of the student. (2) Improvement of cognitive ability of senior high school students of class XI by using LKPD based on CNP learning model on Balance and Rotational Dynamics material is reviewed with standard gain of 0.18 which is included in the low categoryimprovement.
