Abstract


Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1)mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Giving Questions and Getting Answers menggunakan media audio visual terhadap motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik kelas X SMA N 2 Yogyakarta, (2) mengetahui model pembelajaran yang paling berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA N 2 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasieksperimen dengan desain faktorial 3x2. Kelayakan instrumen pengambilan data didasarkan pada validitas isi menggunakan V Aiken, validitas empiris menggunakan nilai batas MNSQ, dan reliabilitas menggunakan nilai Alpha Cronbach. Teknik pengujian prasyarat analisis menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk serta uji homogenitas Box’s M dan Levene, sedangkan teknik pengujian hipotesis mengunakan uji MANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa:(1) penerapan model pembelajaran giving questions getting answers menggunakan media audio visual memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik kelas X SMA N 2 Yogyakarta berdasarkan uji MANOVA dengan nilai signifikansi 0,001 (< 0,05) sehingga hipotesis diterima,(2) model pembelajaran yang paling berpegaruh terhadap motivasi belajar adalah diskusi, sedangkan model pembelajaran yang paling berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar kognitif adalah Giving Questions and Getting Answers.

Abstract
This research aims to: (1) to know the effects on using Giving Questions and Getting Answers learning model and audio visual media onthe grade x students’ learning motivation and cognitive learning achievement in SMAN 2 Yogyakarta, (2) to identify which learning model is the most influential on the grade x students’ learning motivation and cognitive learning achievement in SMAN 2 Yogyakarta.This research is a quasi experimental research using 3x2 factorial design. The feasibility of data collection instruments based on the validity of the content using the V Aiken, the empirical validity using MNSQ limit value, and reliability using Cronbach Alpha value. The preliminary analysis were tested using Shapiro-Wilk test of normality and Box’s M and Levene test of homogeneity, while the hypothesis were tested using MANOVA.The result of this research show that: (1) The application of Giving Questions and Getting Answers learning model with audio visual media gives positive effect on the learning motivation and cognitive learning achievement of grade X students in SMA N 2 Yogyakarta, according to MANOVA test, with the degree of significance 0,001 (< 0,05) so that the hypothesis is accepted,(2) The most influential learning model on learning motivation is discussion, while the most influential students’ cognitive learning achievement is the Giving Questions and Getting Answers learning model.
