PENGEMBANGAN MODULFISIKA BERBASIS SIKLUS BELAJAR (LEARNING CYCLE) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR FISIKA SISWA SMA THE DEVELOPMENT OF PHYSICS MODULE BASED ON LEARNING CYCLE (LEARNING CYCLE) TO IMPROVE MOTIVATION AND PHYSICS’S LEARNING OUTCOMES OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT

Abstract


Abstrak

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan produk berupa media Modul Fisika Berbasis Siklus Belajar (Learning Cycle) yang layakuntukmeningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar fisika siswa SMA; (2) mengetahui besar peningkatan motivasi belajar Fisika siswa SMAdengan penerapan mediaModul Fisika Berbasis Siklus Belajar(Learning Cycle) dan (3) mengetahui besar peningkatan hasil belajar Fisika siswa SMAdengan penerapan mediaModul Fisika Berbasis Siklus Belajar(Learning Cycle).Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE menurut Branch, yaitu tahap analyze, tahap design, tahap develop, tahap implementationdan tahap evaluaition. Kelayakan media Modul Fisika Berbasis Siklus Belajar(Learning Cycle) dilihat dari skor valididasi menggunakan analisisSbi. Peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa dilihat dari nilai standard Gain pada angket motivasi belajar siswa, sedangkan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa  dilihat dari nilai standard Gain lembar pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) media Modul Fisika Berbasis Siklus Belajar (Learning Cycle) yang telah dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar Fisika siswa SMAdengan kategori sangat baik; 2) peningkatan motivasi belajar fisika sebesar 0,31 dengan klasifikasi sedang dan 3) peningkatan hasil belajar fisika sebesar 0,92 dengan klasifikasi tinggi.

Abstract

This research was aimed to: (1) produce a proper Physics Module Based On Learning Cycle (Learning Cycle) to improve motivation and physics’s learning outcomes of Senior High School students; (2) know the improvement in learning motivation ofSenior High School students after using Physics Module Based On Learning Cycle (Learning Cycle) and (3) know the improvement in physics’s learning outcomes of Senior High School students after using Physics Module Based On Learning Cycle (Learning Cycle). This research was a research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model by Branch (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation and Evaluate). The proper of Physics Module Based On Learning Cycle (Learning Cycle) was taken from the Sbi validity score. Implementation is operasional test to achieve the results of motivation and physics’s learning outcomes of student in cognitive aspect. The improvement of learning motivation was taken from the result of Standard Gain in learning motivation sheets, wehereas the improvement of physics’s learning outcomes was taken from the result of Standard Gain in pretest and posttest sheets. The result of this research showed that: (1) Physics Module Based On Learning Cycle (Learning Cycle) is proper to improve motivation and physics’s learning outcomes of Senior High School students in very good category; (2) the improvement of learning motivation with the standard gain value 0.31with medium category and (3) the improvement of physics’s learning outcomes with the standard gain value 0.92withhigh category.
