Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode pembelajaran Children Learning in Science (CLIS) terhadap keaktifan peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Mlati, dan 2) mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode pembelajaran Children Learning in Science (CLIS) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Mlati.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI IPA di SMA Negeri 1 Mlati yang terdiri dai dua kelas. Pengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan undian dan diperoleh peserta didik kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan peserta didik kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini diantaranya Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), lembar observasi keaktifan dan soal pre-test dan post-test yang sudah dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Analisis untuk mengetahui perbedaan keaktifan menggunakan teori Arikunto yakni dengan menggunakan presentase sedangkan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar menggunakan Uji Independent Sample T-test.Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1) penggunaan metode pembelajaran Children Learning in Science (CLIS) berpengaruh positif terhadap keaktifan peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Mlati, dan 2) penggunaan metode pembelajaran Children Learning in Science (CLIS) berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Mlati.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) determine the effect of the use of learning methods Children Learning in Science (CLIS) on the student activity class XI IPA SMA 1 Mlati, and b) determine the effect of the use of learning methods Children Learning in Science (CLIS) on learning outcomes students class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Mlati.This research is a quasi-experimental research with pretest-posttest control group design research design. The population in this study is all students of class XI IPA in SMA Negeri 1 Mlati which consists of two classes. Sampling of this research using lottery and obtained student class XI IPA 1 as experiment class and student class XI IPA 2 as control class. Instruments in this study include Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), activity observation sheet and pre-test and post-test questions that have been declared valid and reliable. Analysis to know the difference of liveliness using Arikunto theory that is by using percentage while to know difference of learning result using Independent Sample T-test.Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that 1) the use of learning method of Children Learning in Science (CLIS) has a positive effect on student’s activity of class XI IPA SMA 1 Mlati, and b) the use of learning method of Children Learning in Science (CLIS) has a positive effect on learning outcomes of student class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Mlati.
