Abstract


Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran fisika dengan model Guided Discovery Learning berbasis Nature of Physics yang layak untuk pembelajaran di SMA dan (2) mendeskripsikan peningkatan penguasaan konsep fisika peserta didik yang mengikuti proses pembelajaran dengan perangkat pembelajaran fisika bermodel Guided Discovery Learning berbasis Nature of Physics. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi 5 langkah yaitu analyze, design, develop, implement, dan evaluate. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA 1 Kasihan dengan subjek penelitian peserta didik kelas X MIPA 1 berjumlah 32 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar validasi, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan RPP, soal tes, dan angket respon peserta didik. Teknik analisis kelayakan produk dilakukan dengan pengkategorian menggunakan pembagian kurva normal. Efektivitas produk dianalisis menggunakan standard gain <g>. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) perangkat pembelajaran fisika model Guided Discovery Learning berbasis Nature of Physics layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika pada materi hukum Newton tentang gerak lurus, dan (2) besar peningkatan penguasaan konsep peserta didik ditunjukkan oleh nilai standard gain <g>sebesar 0,58 (sedang).

Abstract

                This research aims to (1) to produce a physics learning instrument modeled from Guided Discovery Learning based on Nature of Physics that is feasible in learning of high school student, and (2) to describe the increase of student’s physics concept mastery which participated in the learning process with learning instrument modeled from Guided Discovery Learning based on Nature of Physics. This is a R&D research that use ADDIE of which includes 5 steps that analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. The product was develop in10th gradeof Mathematics and Natural Sciences student in SMA 1 Kasihan amounted of 32 people. The instrumensto collecting data are validation sheets, observation sheets enforceability of the RPP, sheets of test, and questionnaire responses of learners. The analysis technique that use with the categorization of products using the distribution of the normal curve. The effectiveness of the product was analyzed using the standard gain <g>.The result of this research shows that (1) learning instrument modeled from Guided Discovery Learning based on Nature of Physics is feasible to be used in Newtown Law material about linear motion, and (2) the increase of student concept mastery is shown with standard gain<g> of 0,58 (medium).
