Abstract

Abstract

This research main goals are (1) to produce sub conducting an experiment performance task assessment to improve students scientific process skills in high school; (2) to determine the effectivity of sub conducting an experiment performance task assessment in physics instruction based on students’ scientific process skills in high school laboratory activities view. This research is conducted through 4D Model developmental research. At the define step, planning a learning material of simple harmonic motion. At the Design step, the product was reviewed by the experts to be validated. At the Develop step, the teaching material was developed by limited and wide test. At the disseminate step, the dissemination of the media resulted from the development process is conducted. The results show that (1) the sub presentation and discussion product of performance task assessments have validated descriptively and reliably, proven by the CVR and CVI value 0.79 giving the very good category and the value of Percentage of Agreement (PA) is  90.28 %; (2) effectivity rate of the assessment instrument of sub conducting an experiment performance task assessment in the scientific process skill view is 3.32 with resulted in good interpretation in XI MIA 3, 3.56 with resulted in very good interpretation in XI MIA 1, and 3.21 with resulted in good interpretation in XI MIA 2.
