PENGEMBANGAN INSTRUMEN PENILAIAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR TINGKAT TINGGI UNTUK MENGUKUR PENCAPAIAN HASIL BELAJAR FISIKA PESERTA DIDIK SMA KELAS XI MATERI OPTIKA

Email: benisaputro17@gmail.com 1), pahar.fis@gmail.com 2) Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa instrumen penilaian kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi fisika materi optika yang layak digunakan dan mengukur kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi di SMA N 1 Rowokele. Kisi – kisi instrumen disusun berdasarkan model 4D oleh Thiagarajan dan langkah pengembangan tes oleh Mardapi. Instrumen terdiri dari 20 item yang telah divalidasi oleh praktisi. Instrumen yang telah divalidasi diujicobakan pada 260 peserta didik di SMA N 5 Yogyakarta dan MAN 2 Yogyakarta. Data dikotomus dianalisis dengan menggunakan Rasch Model (RM) yang dibantu dengan aplikasi Quest dan Parscale. Hasil ujicoba menunjukkan bahwa semua item terbukti fit dengan RM, reliabilitas instrumen sebesar 0,97, indeks kesukaran item berada pada rentang antara -1,62 sampai 1,23 yang berarti semua item dalam kategori baik. Instrumen yang dikembangkan kemudian digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi fisika di SMA N 1 Rowokele yang melibatkan 79 peserta didik. Kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (ϴ) materi optika di SMA N 1 Rowokele masuk dalam kategori rendah dengan rentang nilai ϴ antara -2,68 sampai 1,36 dengan mean -0,9. Kata kunci: pengembangan instrumen, kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi, fisika, optika Abstract The objectives of this research were to produce an instrument for measuring senior high school students physics higher order thinking skill (HOTS) major optic that are appropriate to use and measure the ability to think high-level in SMA 1 Rowokele. The instrument lattice is prepared based on the 4D model by Thiagarajan and the step of developing the test by Mardapi. The instrument consists of 20 items that have been validated by practitioners. The instrument that has been validated was tested on 260 students in Senior State High School 5 Yogyakarta and Madrasah Aliyah 2 Yogyakarta. Dichotomous data were analyzed using Rasch Model (RM) assisted by Quest and Parscale applications. The test results showed that all items proved to be fit with RM, instrument reliability was 0.97, item difficulty index was in the range between -1.62 to 1.23 which means that all items were in good category. The instrument developed was then used to measure the high-level thinking skills of physics at Senior State High School 1 Rowokele which involved 79 students. High-level thinking ability (Θ) optical material at Senior State High School 1 Rowokele is in the low category with a range of Θ values between -2.68 to 1.36 with a mean of -0.9.
