PENGEMBANGAN MODUL FISIKA BERBASIS SETS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN LITERASI SAINS PESERTA DIDIK SMA

Abstract


Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) menghasilkan modul fisika berbasis SETS yang layak digunakan pada materi momentum dan impuls, (2) menghasilkan modul fisika berbasis SETS yang efektif pada materi momentum dan impuls, dan (3) mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik setelah menggunakan modul fisika berbasis SETS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan model 4-D menurut Thiagarajan dan Semmel. Tahap define merupakan tahap awal untuk mendefinisikan permasalahan. Tahap develop dilakukan untuk menghasilkan modul, RPP, Soal pretest posttest, dan instrumen pengumpulan data yaitu lembar validasi, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan RPP, angket respon peserta didik yang sudah divalidasi, dan direvisi berdasarkan komentar, saran, dan penilaian dari validator ahli dan praktisi. Pada tahap develop juga dilakukan uji coba terbatas butir soal dan uji coba lapangan. Modul yang dikembangkan diuji coba di SMA N 4 Yogyakarta dengan melakukan eksperimen. Kelas eksperimen diberi pembelajaran dengan modul fisika berbasis SETS yaitu kelas X IA 3 dan kelas kontrol tanpa menggunakan modul fisika berbasis SETS yaitu kelas X IA 5. Kata kunci: modul fisika berbasis SETS, kemampuan literasi sains, momentum dan impuls Abstract The research aims to produce (1) SETS-based physics modules that are suitable for use on momentum and impulse material, (2) SETS-based physics modules that are effective on momentum and impulse material, and (3) know improvement of scientific literacy skills of students after using SETS-based physics modules. The type of this study was development research (R & D) with 4-D model as explained by Thiagarajan and Semmel. The define stage was the first step to define the problems.It was conducted by developing module and research instrument. The develop stage was performed to produce: module, lesson plan (RPP), questions of pre-test post-test,and the instrument of collecting the data have been validation sheets,observation of RPP implementation sheets,students questionnaire responses that have been validated,and revised based on comments and suggestions by expert and practitioner-validators. It was also conducted a limited test item and field test. The development of module product was tested in SMA N 4 Yogyakarta by conducting experiment. The experiment class was using physics module of SETS-based in the learning,that was class X IA 3.
