DEVELOPING APTITUDE TREATMENT INTERACTION LEARNING BASED- DISCUSSION ACTIVITY STUDENT WORKSHEET TO IMPROVE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT’ LEARNING INTEREST AND OUTCOME

Abstract


Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengasilkan LKPDDiscussion Activity berbasis pembelajaran ATI pada materi fluida dinamis yang layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran di kelas, (2) mengetahui peningkatan minat belajar peserta didik setelah menggunakan LKPD Discussion Activity berbasis pembelajaran ATI pada materi fluida dinamis, dan (3) mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik setelah menggunakan LKPD Discussion Activity berbasis pembelajaran ATI pada materi fluida dinamis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan model 4-D menurut Thiagarajan dan Semmel yang memiliki 4 tahap yaitu: define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 15 peserta didik kelas XI IPA 2 untuk uji coba terbatas dan 30 peserta didik kelas XI IPA 1 untuk uji coba luas. Instrumen penelitian meliputi angket, lembar observasi, RPP, dan LKPD.Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini digunakan untuk mengukur validitas, kelayakan, dan reliabilitas instrumen.Validitas dianalisis dengan ContentValidity Ratio (CVR) dan Content Validity Index (CVI).Kelayakan dianalisis dengan Standar Baku Ideal (SBi).Reliabilitas dianalisis dengan Interclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC). Data hasil dari uji coba terbatas dan uji coba luas diperoleh dari hasil penilaian terhadap pre-test dan post-test, angket respon peserta didik terhadap LKPD, dan angket minat peserta didik sebelum dan setelah menggunakan LKPD.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) LKPD yang dikembangkan layak digunakan berdasarkan penilaian validator dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 3 (sangat baik), hasil respon peserta didik pada uji coba terbatas dengan nilai 3,77 (baik) dan pada uji coba luas dengan nilai 3,96 (baik), (2) peningkatan minat belajar fisika peserta didik pada uji coba terbatas dengan nilai gain 0,36 (sedang) dan pada uji coba luas dengan nilai gain 0,49 (sedang), dan (3) peningkatan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik ranah kognitif pada uji coba terbatas dengan nilai gain 0,62 (sedang) dan pada uji coba luas dengan nilai gain 0,72 (tinggi). Kata kunci: Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik, Aptitude Treatment Interaction, fluida dinamis, minat dan hasil belajar. Abstract This study aimed at: (1) producing feasible Discussion Activity Student Worksheet based on ATI learning on dynamic fluid material for learning activity in classroom, (2) finding out the improvement of students’ learning interest after utilizing ATI learning based- Discussion activity students worksheet on dynamic fluid material, and (3) discovering the students’ learning outcome improvement after utilizing ATI learning based- Discussion Activity Students’ Worksheet on dynamic fluid material. This study was categorized as Research and Development ( R&D) with the 4-D model according to Thiagarajan and Semmel which comprised four steps namely: define, design, develop, dan disseminate. The subject of the study consisted of fifteen students of Class XI IPA 2 for preliminary testing and thirty students of Class XI IPA 1 for main testing. The instrument of the study comprised questionnaire, observation sheets, Lesson Plan, and Students’ Worksheet. The data analyses in this study were done by measuring the validity, feasibility, and reliability of the instrument. Instrument validity was tested by using Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and Content Validity Index (CVI). Instrument feasibility was analyzed by using Ideal Basic Standard (SBI). Instrument reliability was analyzed by using Interclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC). The result of preliminary and main testing was obtained from the pre-test, and post-test assessment, students' questionnaire response toward students' worksheet, and the questionnaire on students' interest before and after the worksheet were utilized. The results of the study showed that: (1) The developed students' worksheet was feasible based on the validator assessment by the average score of 3 (very good), the result of students' response on preliminary testing was 3.77 (good) and 3.96 for main testing (good). (2) Students' interest improvement on learning physics on preliminary testing was moderate by the gain score of 0.37 and was moderate on the main testing by the gain score of 0.49. (3) the improvement of students' outcome in the cognitive domain on preliminary testing was moderate by the gain score of 0.62 and was high on the main testing by the gain score of 0.72.
