PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA BERBASIS PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP, KEMAMPUAN NUMERIK DAN BERPIKIR LOGIS

Abstract


Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran fisika berbasis problem based learning (2) peningkatan pemahaman konsep fisika peserta didik (3) peningkatan kemampuan numerik peserta didik (4) peningkatan berpikir logis peserta didik. Desain penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D (define, design, develop, dan disseminate). Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu Kelas X MIA 1 SMA N 1 Imogiri. Instrumen penelitian diantaranya: silabus, RPP, dan LKPD, lembar validasi perangkat pembelajaran, angket respon peserta didik, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan RPP, instrumen penilaian, dan respon pembelajaran. Perangkat yang valid dan reliabel diujicobakan melalui desain penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Teknik analisis data terdiri dari teknik analisis validasi instrumen dan analisis hasil. Teknik analisis validitas instrument menggunakan CVR, CVI, percentage of agreement, sedangkan untuk analisis hasil penelitian menggunakan standar gain dan IJA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) telah diperoleh perangkat pembelajaran berbasis problem based learning yang layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, kemampuan numerik, dan berpikir logis, (2) peningkatan pemahaman konsep sebesar 0,46 dengan kategori sedang, (3) peningkatan kemampuan numerik sebesar 0,65 dengan kategori sedang, (4) peningkatan kemampuan berpikir sebesar 0,71 dengan kategori tinggi. Kata kunci: perangkat pembelajaran, problem based learning, pemahaman konsep, kemampuan numerik, berpikir logis Abstract This research is intended to describe (1) the qualify of physics learning based on the problem-based learning to improve conceptual understanding, numerical ability, and logical thinking (2) the increase of understanding of physic learner’s concept, (3) the increase of numerical learner’s ability, (4) the increase of logical learner’s thinking. This research is entitled Research and Development with 4-D models (define, design, develop, and desseminate). The subject of this research is 10th grade, student of 1 Imogiri Senior High School. Instrument datas of this research are: syllabus, Lesson Plan, validation sheet of physical learning device, students response, observastion sheet, feasibility of lesson plan, assessment and learning response. The technique of analysis consist of intrument validation and the result of research. The device that is valid and reliabel trailed by class action research. The technique of data analysis consist of intrument validation analysis and the result of research analysis. Intrument validation analysis uses CVR, CVI, percentage of agreement, while the result of research analysis uses gain and IJA. The result of this research show that (1) Physics learning device based on PBL suitable with good category to increase conceptual understanding, numerical ability, and logical thinking, (2) the increase of student understanding concept is 0,46 with medium category, (3) the increase of student numerical capabilities is 0,65 with medium category, and (4) the increase of student logical thinking is 0,71 with high category.
