PENGARUH PRESTASI BELAJAR KEJURUAN DAN SOFT SKILLS TERHADAP KESIAPAN PRAKTIK KERJA INDUSTRI SISWA KELAS XII PROGRAM KEAHLIAN TEKNIK PEMESINAN SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 1 BANTUL

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh prestasi belajar kejuruan dan soft skills secara sendiri-sendiri maupun bersama-sama terhadap kesiapan praktik kerja industri siswa kelas XII Program Keahlian Teknik Pemesinan SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian korelasional. Populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII dengan jumlah 95 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 77 siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus Taro Yamane atau Slovin dengan toleransi kesalahan 5%. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis regresi sederhana dan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar kejuruan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan praktik kerja industri dengan kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 10%. Soft skills berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan praktik kerja industri dengan kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 58,8%. Prestasi belajar kejuruan dan soft skills secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan praktik kerja industri dengan kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 59%.

This research aims to determine the effect of vocational learning achievment and soft skills to the industrial internship readiness for 12th grade students of Mechanical Engineering Program of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul. The type of this research is a correlational research. The population were all of 12th grade students of Mechanical Engineering Program of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul, with the total of students is 95 students. The sample used in this research was 77 students. The sample was taken by using Taro Yamane or Slovin formula with the error tolerance of 5%. The data were collected by using questionnaire and documentation method. Techniques of analysis data used in this research are simple and multiple regression analysis. The results of this research indicate that there is a significant influence of vocational learning achievment on the industrial internship readiness with the influence contribution percentage of 10%.  There is a significant influence of soft skills on the industrial internship readiness with the influence contribution percentage of 58,8%.  There is a significant effect of vocational learning achievment and soft skills on the industrial internship readiness with the influence contribution percentage of 59%.
