APLIKASI CNC MULTI CALCULATOR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR DAN KOMPETENSI PADA TEORI BUBUT

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: menerapkan aplikasi CNC Multi Calculator untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa dan kompetensi siswa kelas XI Teknik Pemesinan 1 di SMK N 2 Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI TP 1 SMK N 2 Yogyakarta, dengan jumlah 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media aplikasi CNC Multi Calculator dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan kompetensi siswa pada mata pelajaran teori bubut. Peningkatan rata-rata keaktifan belajar siswa sebesar 31,9% dimana skor rata-rata keaktifan belajar pada siklus I hanya sebesar 48,95% dan siklus II sebesar 64,84%, kemudian meningkat menjadi 80,85% pada siklus III, sedangkan untuk kompetensi siswa terjadi peningkatan sebesar 37,5%, pada siklus I rata-rata ketuntasan tes kompetensi hanya mencapai 50% dan siklus II meningkat menjadi 78,12% kemudian  meningkat menjadi 87,5% pada siklus III dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas tes kompetensi mencapai 28 siswa.

The aim of this research is to implement the use of CNC Multi Calculator application to increase the learning activeness of students and to improve the competence of class XI students of Machining Program 1 in SMK N 2 Yogyakarta. This research is a classroom action research with a model which is developed by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The subjects were students of class XI TP 1 SMK N 2 Yogyakarta, with a total of 32 students. Data collection techniques were by using observation sheets and tests. Data analysis was done by using quantitative-descriptive techniques. The results show that the implementation of CNC Multi Calculator application can enhance the activeness and competence of students in the turning theory lesson. The increase of students' learning activeness is 31.9% in average; in which an average score of learning activeness of only 48.95% in the first cycle and 64.84%, in the second cycle, and then increased to 80.85% in the third cycle. The competence improvement of the students is by 37.5%; in which the average of competency completeness tests of only 50% in the first cycle and increased to 78.12% in the second cycle, and then increased to 87.5% in the third cycle, with the number of students who have passed the competency test not less than 28 students.
