PENGEMBANGAN MODUL PROSES PEMBUATAN RODA GIGI HELIX DI SMK N 2 YOGYAKARTA

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan dan mengetahui kelayakan modul proses pembuatan roda gigi helix di SMK N 2 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Penelitian dilakukan pada 24 siswa di Jurusan Teknik Pemesinan SMK N 2 Yogyakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Modul proses pembuatan roda gigi helix telah dihasilkan melalui 7 langkah pengembangan yaitu identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan informasi, desain modul, validasi desain, revisi desain dan uji coba terbatas. Tingkat kelayakan modul proses pembuatan roda gigi helix dapat dilihat berdasarkan 3 aspek penilaian yaitu validasi ahli materi dengan  rerata skor 3,29 yang termasuk dalam klasifikasi  Sangat Baik; validasi ahli media dengan  rerata skor 3,37 yang termasuk dalam klasifikasi Sangat Baik; dan  hasil uji coba terbatas dengan  rerata skor 3,42 yang termasuk dalam klasifikasi Sangat Baik. Rerata total dari 3 aspek penilaian adalah 3,36 yang termasuk dalam klasifikasi Sangat Baik.

This research aimed to produce and determine the feasibility of the module in the process of making helix gears at SMK N 2 Yogyakarta. This research is a Research and Development (R&D). The research was conducted on 24 students in the Mechanical Engineering Department of SMK N 2 Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and analyzed in descriptive quantitative. The results of this research indicate that: Module process for making of helical gear has been produced through 7 development steps namely, problem identification, information gathering, module design, design validation, design revision and limited testing. The level of feasibility of the module process for making of helical gears can be seen based on 3 aspects of assessment namely, material expert validation with a mean score of 3.29 which is included in the Very Good classification; media expert validation with a mean score of 3.37 which is included in the Very Good classification; and the results of the limited testing with a mean score of 3.42 which is included in the Very Good classification. The total average of the 3 aspects of the assessment is 3.36 which is included in the Very Good classification.
