EFEKTIVITAS MODEL INQUIRY BASED LEARNING MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS ANDROID PADA MATA PELAJARAN DASAR DAN PENGUKURAN LISTRIK

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan kompetensi siswa ranah kognitif dan afektif yang mengikuti pembelajaran model inquiry based learning menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis android dibandingkan model teacher centered learning pada kompetensi dasar “elemen pasif dalam rangkaian arus searah”; (2) efektivitas penerapan model inquiry based learning menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis android pada kompetensi dasar “elemen pasif dalam rangkaian listrik arus searah”. Jenis penelitian adalah kuasi eksperimen. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney dan wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan kompetensi siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran model inquiry based learning menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis android dengan model teacher centered learning dengan nilai  0.00 > 0.05 pada ranah kognitif dan  0.001 > 0.05 pada ranah afektif; (2) Penerapan model inquiry based learning menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis android lebih efektif dibandingkan penerapan model teacher centered learning dalam meningkatkan kompetensi belajar siswa dengan nilai   0,000, rerata gain 0.83 pada ranah kognitif.

Abstract

This research aims to find out: (1) the difference of students affective and cognitive competence that follow the inquiry based learning model used an android based leaning media compare a teacher centered learning model on the basic competence of “passive elements in a series of currents”; (2) the application effectiveness of the inquiry based learning model used an android based learning media on the basic competence of “passive elements in a series of currents”. This type of research is quasi experiment. The hypothesis test used Mann-Whitney and Wilcoxon. This research results can be concluded that: (1) there were a difference in competence of students who follow the inquiry based learning model used an android-based learning media compare teacher centered learning model with significant value of independent test 0.00 > 0.05 in cognitive domain and significant value of independent test 0.001 > 0.05 in affective domain; (2) the application of the inquiry based learning model used an android based learning media is more effective than the application of the teacher centered learning model  to improve the student learning competencies with significant value of pair test 0.000 and average gain of 0.83 in cognitive domain.
