Abstract


Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan PPDB Online tingkat SMP
Negeri oleh Dinas Pendidikan Kota Yogyakarta serta mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mendukung
dan menghambat pelaksanaan PPDB Online di Kota Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan
metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah ketua tim koodinasi PPDB Online
Dinas Pendidikan kota Yogyakarta dan anggota tim koordinasi PPDB Online Dinas Pendidikan
Kota Yogyakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara,dan
dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian yaitu peneliti sendiri. Teknik analisis data menggunakan
teknik analisis interaktif model Miles dan Huberman yang sudah dimodifikasi oleh Sugiyono.
Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
bahwa Pelaksanaan PPDB Online oleh Dinas Pendidikan Kota Yogyakarta sudah memenuhi
seluruh aktivitas pelaksanaan menggunakan teori Jones yang meliputi (1)Aktivitas
pengorganisasian dilaksanakan melalui pembentukan tim koordinasi PPDB Online yang secara
khusus menjadi pelaksana teknis dan pengawas pelaksanaan PPDB Online. (2) Aktivitas
Interpretasi dilaksanakan melalui pemberian sosialisasi dan penyebaran informasi melalui media
cetak dan elektronik. (3) Aktivitas aplikasi ditunjukkan dengan adanya pengelolaan Website dan
penyediaan kotak suara yang dapat digunakan sebagai sarana tanya jawab. Selain itu juga
ditunjukkan melalui tersedianya informasi melalui SMS.

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out the implementation of online acceptance for new
students of junior high school by the Educational Unit of Government in Yogyakarta
Municipality and also to examine the factors that support and inhibit them. This study used
descriptive qualitative method. The subject of this research were the co-chair and members of
coordination team of online acceptance for new students of Government in Yogyakarta
Municipality. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. The
research instrument was the researcher himself. Data analysis technique used interactive model
technique of Miles and Huberman that have been modified by Sugiono. Checking the validity of
the data employed source triangulation. The result of the research shows that the
Implementation of Online acceptance by the Government in Yogyakarta Municipality has
fulfilled all activities of Jones theory of implementation which included (1) Organizing activities
carried out through the establishment of coordination team of Online acceptance which
specifically become technical implementer and supervisor of Online acceptane implementation.
(2) Interpretation Activities carried out through the provision of socialization and dissemination
of information through print and electronic means. (3) The application activity was
demonstrated by the management of the website and the provision of ballot boxes which can be
used as a means of question and answer. It was also shown through the availability of
information via SMS.
