THEEFFECTIVENESS OF SONGS IN THE GERMAN VOCABULARY MASTERY OF STUDENTS OF GRADE X IN SMAN1 MUNTILAN MAGELANG

Abstract


This research purposes are to know (1) The differences capabilities of vocabulary German language of student class X at SMA Negeri 1 Muntilan Magelang between studying with use of song media with use convensional media, (2) Using of song media in learning vocabulary German language of student class X SMA Negeri 1 Muntilan Magelang are more effective than convensional media.This research is quasi experiment. The population in this study was 257 students (8 classes). The technique of data collecting was simple random sampling which one class as an experiment class and the rest of the class were used for control class. The research result showing the value thitung2,373 higher than for ttabel 2,00 with significance degrees α= 0,05 with db= 63. It means there were significant distingtion in Germany vocabulary learning between experiment class and class control. The average of students score in experiment class was 13,66 bigger than in control class with just 7,5. And than can inferential that use of song media concerned learning vocabulary German language for student class x SMA N 1 Muntilan Magelang effectiveness than use of convensional media.
