THE EFFORTS TO IMPROVE THE GERMAN WRITING SKILL OF XI th GRADE STUDENTS OF THE LANGUAGE PROGRAM IN MAN PURWOREJO THROUGH THE QUARTET CARD

Abstract


The study aimed to describe the increase in: (1) the enthusiasms of the students in 11th grade language program in MAN Purworejo in learning Germany language, (2) the achievement of Germany language writing skills 11th grade students MAN Purworejo through Quartet card. This research was a classroom action research. The strategy was determined collaboratively between researcher, teacher, and students. This classroom action research consisted of 2 cycles. Each of the cycles consisted of 4 steps, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The indicators of success in this research were (1) the success of the process and (2) the success of the product. The success of the process was seen from the increase in the enthusiasms of the students in learning process the Germany language. The success of the product was seen from the increase in the achievement of Germany language writing skills. The results of this research showed that there were the increases in the enthusiasms of the students in learning process. The students became more enthusiastic for learning process. The average of Germany language writing skills score was good. It was proved by increasing of 14.24%.
