Analisis kualitas pemberitaan akun Instagram Info Singaraja (periode 1 Januari-31 Januari 2021)

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas pemberitaan pada akun Instagram Info Singaraja. Berita yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah berita pada periode 1 Januari-31 Januari 2021. Digunakan enam dimensi normatif yaitu (1) diversity, (2) relevance, (3) accuracy, (4) comprehensibility, (5) impartiality, (6) ethic untuk mengetahui kualitas pemberitaan Info Singaraja. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan tipe deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa lembar koding yang diisi oleh dua orang koder. Hasil kesepakatan antar koder akan diuji menggunakan formula Holsti, jika mendapatkan hasil coefisien reliability melebihi 0,75 maka data yang didapatkan bersifat valid. Setelah itu teknik analisis data menggunakan tabel distribusi frekuensi dengan melihat jumlah kesepakatan antar koder pada masing-masing kategori dimensi normatif kualitas berita yang diolah menggunakan rumus mencari persentase. Hasil penelitian terhadap pemberitaan di akun Instagram Info Singaraja, didapatkan dimensi kategori diversity memiliki persentase sebesar 91,00 %, kategori relevance 88,88 %, kategori accuracy 82,22 %, kategori comprehensibility 72,22 %, kategori impartiality 95,55 %, dan kategori ethic sebesar 97,77 %.

The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of the news on the Info Singaraja Instagram account. The news used in this research is news from 1 January to 31 January, 2021. Six normative dimensions are used, namely (1) diversity, (2) relevance, (3) accuracy, (4) comprehensibility, (5) impartiality, (6) ethic to determine the quality of Info Singaraja news. This research is a type of quantitative research, using a descriptive type. The instrument used in this study was a coding sheet filled in by two coders. The results of the agreement between coders will be tested using the Holsti formula, if the results of the reliability coefficient exceed 0.75 then the data obtained is valid. After that, the data analysis technique used a frequency distribution table by looking at the number of agreements between coders in each category of the normative dimension of the quality of the news processed using the formula to find the percentage. The results of the research on the news on the Info Singaraja Instagram account, it was found the dimension of diversity category has a percentage of 91.00%, 88.88% relevance category, 82.22% accuracy category, 72.22% comprehensibility category, 95.55% impartiality category, and 97.77% ethic category.
