PEAK FREQUENCY CLASSIFICATION OF NATURAL ANIMAL SOUNDS AS A STIMULANT OF PLANT GROWTH

Abstract


Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui spektrum peak frekuensi suara binatang alamiah khas Indonesia dan (2) Mengetahui hasil klasifikasi ragam peak frekuensi suara binatang alamiah pada interval peak frekuensi sonic bloom 3000 Hz-5000 Hz yang dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif sumber stimulator pertumbuhan dan produktivitas tanaman. Penelitian ini meliputi beberapa tahapan antara laintahap perekaman suara binatang menggunakan voice recorder digital dengan beberapa kali perekaman untuk mendapatkan suara terbaik dengan sedikit/ tanpa noise, tahap analisis menggunakan program MATLAB 2014bdengan algoritma FFT (Fast Fourier Transform)untuk mengetahui karakter spektrum ragam peak frekuensi, dan tahappemotongan sinyal suara menggunakan softwareAdobe Audition CS6 untuk dilakukan klasifikasi peak frekuensi.Telah dihasilkan klasifikasi suara masing-masing binatang memiliki rentang frekuensi antara lain: 1-1000 Hz sejumlah 6 binatang, 1000-2000 Hz sejumlah 8 binatang, 2000-3000 Hz sejumlah 14 binatang, 3000-4000 Hz sejumlah 12 binatang, 4000-5000 Hz sejumlah 2 binatang, dan 5000-6000 Hz sejumlah 4 binatang. Hasil dari pemotongan sinyal diperoleh suara binatang alamiah dengan peak frekuensi interval frekuensi sonic bloom (3000 Hz – 5000 Hz) sejumlah 17 jenis binatang. Kata kunci: binatang alamiah, peak frekuensi, sonic bloom, timbre Abstract The research is aimed to (1) find peak frequency spectrum (timbre) of Indonesian’s natural animal soundsand (2)to classify sounds which have frequency range between 3000 Hz-5000 Hz that are used as an alternative stimulant of plant growth. The procedures of this research activities are started by recording the sounds of animals using digital voice recorder several times. This activity aim to obtain sounds with low noise. Total of 27 sounds of 21 birds, 4 insects, frog and gecko were analyzed using the MATLAB 2014b program to determine the character of the peak frequency spectrum. To classify the sounds wich are in 3000 Hz-5000 Hz frequency range of sonic bloom, the sounds were cutted in parts by using Adobe Audtion CS6 and then the sounds were analyzed by using Matlab to find peak frequency.The result of classified of timbre are frequency range between 1-1000 Hz for 6 animals, 1000-2000 Hz for 8 animals, 2000-3000 Hz for 14 animals, 3000-4000 Hz for 12 animals, 4000-5000 Hz for 2 animals, and 5000-6000 Hz for 4 animals. The signal of animal sounds, has been obtained 17 sounds which are in frequency range of sonic bloom (3000 Hz - 5000 Hz). Keywords: animal sounds, peak frequency, sonic bloom, timbre
