KETAHANAN BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS TERPADU

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketahanan belajar siswa khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu kelas VIII melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif di SMP Negeri 1 Mlati. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) yang dilakukan dalam tahapan siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kolaborasi, dimana guru bertindak sebagai pelaksana dalam pembelajaran dan peneliti sebagai observer. Subjek penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah siswa kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 1 Mlati yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Objek penelitian ini adalah ketahanan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi berupa foto kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan tiap pertemuan. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif dalam pembelajaran IPS Terpadu meningkatkan belajar siswa.

Abstract
This study was aimed to determine the students’ learning perseverance, especially in the subject of Integrated Social Study in grade VIII through the application of cooperative learning model at SMP Negeri 1 Mlati. The type of this research was a classroom action research that conducted in the cycle of planning, implementation, observation and reflection phase. This research was a collaborative research, where the teacher acted as the executor in the teaching and learning process and the researcher acted as the observer. The subjects of this action research were 32 students of class VIII B in SMP Negeri 1 Mlati. The object of this study was the students’ learning perseverance in the subject of Integrated Social Study through the application of cooperative learning model. The instruments for collecting the data in this research were observation sheets, interview guidelines, field notes, and documentation in the form of photograph of learning activities conducted in each meeting. The data of this research were analyzed in the qualitative descriptive method. The results of this study indicated that the application of cooperative learning model in learning the Integrated Social Study improved students’ learning.
