Abstract


Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi pendidikan karakter di Sekolah Dasar Kecamatan Umbulharjo, Kota Yogyakarta, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subyek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, wali kelas dua dan lima, dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diperoleh melalui trianggulasi teknik, triangulasi sumber serta kecukupan referensi. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis Miles & Huberman yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan pengambilan keputusan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) perencanaan pendidikan karakter dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter ke dalam mata pelajaran. Pendidikan karakter juga dilakukan melalui program kegiatan rutin sekolah, kegiatan spontan, keteladanan, pengondisian lingkungan. (2) pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter dengan menyisipkan nilai-nilai karakter dalam kegiatan pembelajaran tahap pembukaan, inti dan penutup. Metode penyampaian menggunakan keteladanan, live in, siswa aktif, dan pencarian bersama. (3) penilaian pendidikan karakter dilakukan guru berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dan tugas yang berpatokan pada sikap spiritual dan sikap sosial.

Abstract
This research to know the examine implementation of character building in Elementary School of Umbulharjo District, Yogyakarta City, Special Regional Of Yogyakarta. Research uses qualitative approach. Research subjects are headmaster, second and fifth homeroom teacher and students. Data collection techniques of this research using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity is obtained from engineering triangulation, source triangulation and some reference. Data analysis using Miles & Huberman tecnique analysis is data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion verification. The results show that; (1) planning of character building performed with integrate character values into the subjects. Character building also performed through routine activities program, spontaneous program, exemplary, and conditioned environment. (2) implementation of character building performed with insert character values in learning on opening activities, main activities, and closing activities. Method of learning character using exemplary, live in, active students, and search together. (3) assessment of character building done by teacher based on observations and assignments in teaching and learning activities which is based on spiritual attitudes and social attitudes.
