RESILIENSI MAHASISWA BIDIKMISI : STUDI KASUS TERHADAP MAHASISWA BIDIKMISI FAKULTAS ILMU PENDIDIKAN UNIVERSITAS NEGERI YOGYAKARTA

Penelitian ini beranjak dari kemampuan resiliensi yang dimiliki mahasiswa Bidikmisi sehingga menjadikannya dapat bertahan dalam kondisi yang tidak menyenangkan dan mampu berprestasi dalam keterbatasan, oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi resiliensi mahasiswa Bidikmisi.Pendekatan ini menggunakankualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah RE, SA, dan SM mahasiswa Bidikmisi FIP UNY. Setting penelitian di FIP, Kendal dan Wonosobo, kos subjek, tempat makan, dan Student Center.Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, skala resiliensi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan  reduksi  data,  penyajian  data,  dan  penarikan  kesimpulan.Hasil  penelitian  menunjukan bahwa faktor I HaveRE, SA, dan SM bersumber dari dukungan dan dorongan untuk mandiri dari orang di sekitarnya. I Am RE, SA, dan SM berasal dari perasaan bangga terhadap dirinya, merasa sebagai individu yang optimis dan bertanggung jawab. I Can RE, SA, dan SM berasal dari orang-orang di sekitar yang membantunya dalam menyelesaikan masalah.

Abstract

This research beginswith the resilience capabilities of Bidikmisi students. This resilience makes the studentssurvive in conditions that are not pleasant in their life and they arealso able to get a study achievement in their limit condition. Therefore, this research aims to describe the factors that influence the Bidikmisi students resilience.The approach of this research is qualitative with research type of case study. Subjects of this research are RE, SA, and SM, Bidikmisi students in Faculty of Education Yogyakarta State University. This research takes place in Faculty of Education, Kendal Regency and Wonosobo Regency, the boarding house of the subject, the place where the subject usually visits to eat, and Student Center. Data collection techniques used are interview, observation, resilience scale, and documentation.Data analysis technique usedare data reduction, display data, and verification.The results showed that the factors I Haveof RE, SA, and SM derived from the supportand the encouragement to be autonomous which comes from people around  them. The factors I Am of RE, SA, and SM comes from the feeling  ofproud  of  themself,  confident  to  be  autonomous  individuals  andthe  feeling  of  optimistic. Thefactors I Can of RE, SA, and SM comes from the people around them who help in the problemsolving.
