PEMAHAMAN PENDEKATAN KONSELING MAHASISWA BK FIP UNY SEBAGAI CALON KONSELOR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman pendekatan konseling mahasiswa BK FIP UNY. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei dengan subjek penelitian mahasiswa BK FIP UNY yang berjumlah 127 mahasiswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes pemahaman. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada umumnya (sebanyak 71%) tingkat pemahaman pendekatan konseling mahasiswa BK FIP UNY sebagai calon konselor termasuk kategori sedang. Tingkat pemahaman pendekatan konseling untuk masing-masing pendekatan adalah sebagai berikut: (1)
76% tingkat pemahaman pendekatan Person Centered termasuk kategori sedang, (2) 63% tingkat pemahaman pendekatan Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy termasuk kategori sedang, (3) 84% tingkat pemahaman
pendekatan Behavior termasuk kategori sedang, (4) 80% tingkat pemahaman pendekatan Analisis Transaksional
termasuk kategori sedang, (5) 73% tingkat pemahaman pendekatan Reality termasuk kategori sedang dan (6) 53%
tingkat pemahaman pendekatan Gestalt termasuk kategori sedang.

Abstract
The research aims to know the level of comprehension counseling approach of students BK FIP UNY. The kind of the research is a survei with subject research is student BK FIP UNY which totaled 127 student. Data collection method used is the test comprehension. Data analysis using descriptive quantitative analysis. The results showed that in general (as much as 71%) level of comprehension counseling approach student BK FIP UNY as as prospective counselor including medium category. Level of comprehension of the counseling approach for each approach are as follow: (1) 76% the level of comprehension Person Centered approach including medium category, (2) 63% the level of comprehension Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy approach including medium category, (3 84% the level of comprehension Behavior approach including medium category, (4) 80% the level of comprehension Transactional Analysis approach including medium category, (5) 73% the level of comprehension Reality approach including medium category, and (7) 53% the level of comprehension Gestalt approach including medium category.
