Abstrak

Penelitan ini bertujuan mengetahui efektifitas terapi musik dengan murroal alquran terhadap tingkat stres akademik pada siswa kelas X MAN 2 Yogyakarta. Jenis penelian ini adalah penelitian Kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian Quasi Eksperimental, desain penelitian yang digunakan adalan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu kelas X IPS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X Bahasa sebagai kelas kontrol yang telah ditentukan melalui Quote Purposive Sampling berdasarkan profil tingkat stres akademik di setiap kelas. Peneliti memberikan treatment berupa terapi musik dengan murottal alquran kepada kelompok eksperimen. Setelah diberikan pretest dan perlakuan pada kelompok eksperimen, kemudian siswa diberi posttest. Hasil uji Paired T Test kelompok Eksperimen didapat sig. 0,028 ≤ 0,05 sedangkan kelompok kontrol sig. 0,0928 ≥ 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak atau terapi musik dengan murottal alquran efektif menurunkan tingkat stres akademik pada siswa kelas X MAN 2 Yogyakarta

Abstract

This research was aimed at understanding the effectiveness of music therapy with Quran’s murrotal toward the level of stress caused by academic burden in class X students of MAN 2 Yogyakarta. This thesis was a quantitative research using a Quasi Experiment method, while the research design applied in the research was non-equivalent control group design. The population in this research was the first grade of MAN 2 Yogyakarta. The samples used in this research were X IPS 1 class as the experiment’s class and X Bahasa class as the control’s class which both had been selected through Quote Purposive Sampling based on the profile of academic’s burden stress level in each class. The researcher gave a treatment with music therapy by Quran’s murrotal toward the experiment’s group. After the experiment’s group was given the pre-test and treatment, then the group was given a post-test in order for the researcher could measure the academic’s burden stress level of the students. The Paired T test result of experiment’s group was measured as sig. 0,028 < 0,05, while the control’s group was measured as sig. 0,0928 > 0,05. Thus, the illation of the research showed that the result of final hypotheses of Ha was accepted while H0 was denied. In other words the music therapy conducted by Quran’s murrotal was effective to reduce the academic stress level toward the first grade students of MAN 2 Yogyakarta.
