IMPROVEMENT EFFORT OF LIVELINESS AND LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT WITH PROBLEM BASED LEARNING MODEL (PBL) ON BASIC ELECTRONIC SUBJECT OG INDUSTRY ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING SKILL COMPETENCE X CLASS STUDENTS IN SMK NEGERI 3 BOYOLANGU TULUNGAGUNG REGENCY

Abstract


This research objective is to know the improvement of liveliness and learning achievement on basic
electronics subjects with problem based learning model (PBL) X class of TEI 2 in SMK Negeri 3 Boyolangu
Tulungagung Regency.This research belongs so classroom action research with Kemmis and Mc. Taggart
development model. The subject of research is students of X TEI 2 Class second semester academic year
2016/2017 wich is consist of 37 students. This research consist of two cycles with each of cycle contains of
two meetings. Data collecting technique of this research used observation, learning achievement test, and
documentation. Data analysis technique used qualitative description and quantitative research. Research
result showed that with learning model of Problem Based Learning (PBL) on electronics subject can
improve learning liveliness and learning achievement of students X TEI 2 Class in SMK Negeri 3 Boyolangu.
It can be shown from the improvement of students learning liveness as 69.90%, the average of students
liveliness in the second cycle was 78.97%. PBL model also can improve the learning achievement, at the
pre-cycles average of learning complement was 48,65%, at first cycle the average of learning completeness
was 75.67%, at the second cycle improve became 89.19%.
